Run it Up! Port Harcourt (PH) is a community-driven music playlisting platform that curates and projects fine, quality music from the city of Port Harcourt. Our mission is simple: to showcase the rich and beautiful art from the city’s very own talents through carefully curated playlists.

Our playlists come in three main categories:

1. Monthly Releases

• Features songs released every specific month.
• Updated on the 28th day of each month.

2. City Choice

• Drops weekly on Wednesdays.
• Features songs fans love and are currently blazing in the city.
• To be featured:
  • A song must have a minimum of 5 fan mentions on our channel.
  • The playlist includes an analytic tool that determines which songs qualify.

3. Themed Playlists

Specially curated around occasions and concepts such as:

• Valentine’s Special
• Top Songs (an editorial playlist by the Run it Up! PH A&R team showcasing recommended tracks — especially “the songs you didn’t know were hot”)
• International Women’s Day
• …and more!

Criteria for Featuring on Playlists

To qualify for any playlist, songs must meet the following:

• Contain less profanity
• Have good production quality
• Be available on major digital streaming platforms (e.g., Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify, etc.)

For City Choice playlists, an additional requirement is that music visuals are a must.
